Our services

  • Social Work

    Social Work focuses on understanding and supporting people in their environment. To assist to improve quality of life and build capacity.

  • Therapy & Counselling

    Social Work therapy and counselling provided by an accredited social worker. The aim is to build capacity of participants and it is done through using different approaches.

  • Training & supervision

    Individual, group or organisational training is available in topics such as legislation or systems. Individual or group supervision avaiable to Social Workers or Support Coordinators.

Meeting your needs

We aim to work with you and your supporters in a holistic way meeting you and your needs “at the core”

Often people can be seen as their disability or as a sum of their disability support needs. At the core takes a person centred approach and meets the person at where they are at. At the Core will listen to your story and honour where you are at in all the services provided. Our staff have experience in the delivery of clinical health and mental health services.

This is transferred into the NDIS framework to get you best outcomes possible. Our staff are experienced in the NDIS and know the local Perth disability sector. At the core is determined to provide quality and competent services and will advise you if your situation is outside our expertise. At this point we can provide suggestions of who is best placed to support you with your situation.

Anita has love, compassion and empathy. And she is very knowledgeable about disability and the law so was able to be clear about my friends disability and her need for support and that it wasn’t a health issue. She was a strong advocate and very resourceful. My friend gained NDIS and equipment and was then able to leave her home to go to the beach and shopping. Without Anita my friend wouldn't have NDIS.
